Nominated at Primud 2019, alongside several African artists, the musician Tenor emerged victorious from one of the categories of the ceremony. PRIMUD (Prix of Urban Music and Décalé Coupé), is a prestigious urban awards ceremony of Côte d'Ivoire. This year, the ceremony recorded the participation of 250 artists and actors of showbiz, divided into 28 categories. The tenor musician has been awarded the prize of the best artist of Central Africa against other followers of the music.
Indeed, there were 11 musicians at the start: Congolese Roga Roga, Fally Ipupa, Inoss'B, Gabonese Shan'l and Cameroonian Tenor, Mr Leo, Blanche Bailly, Mink's, Daphne, Stanley Enow and KO-C for the title of best artist Central Africa. And it was Tenor who was finally crowned.
If today, Tenor is considered as the icon of the Cameroonian rap is surely thanks to his talent.
